IMPORTANT: For those performing record (background) checks, when searching Traffic and
Criminal cases, please know if the name searched upon changes at the top of the display
it is because the name searched upon has been used as an alias by the person whose name
defaults at the top of the display. The system defaults to the individual’s primary name.
It may therefore be necessary to confirm an identity by writing to or by visiting the Circuit
Clerk’s office.
